Tokyo in Winter
Tokyo rarely sees snow, but winter brings crisp, clear skies and some of the year’s most dazzling city illuminations. Clear winter days often reveal snow-capped Mt. Fuji, a scenic drive away at Lake Kawaguchi or Hakone. With a private car, you can pair city lights with Fuji views and no train transfers.

Hokkaido in Winter
Japan’s northern island becomes a true winter wonderland of powder snow, ice and snow festivals. Sapporo and Otaru pair easily, while Niseko, Biei and Asahikawa reward a longer journey. A private car makes the snowy distances between them far more comfortable.
